EARTH 8 SOLUTIONS provides clear communication and professional design work grounded in real site conditions. Our process is consistent across all projects: site assessment, planning, concept development, full design, and permit to build. We prepare servicing layouts and septic system designs that integrate with your property and meet all regulatory standards. Each project is completed with the aim of delivering a reliable product, a straightforward review, and a design you can trust.

1. THE FARMHOUSE RENOVATION AND LEGACY SYSTEM REPLACEMENT

KEENE RD SECTION .png

The project started by helping the homeowner understand whether their existing septic system could support their planned renovation of a historical farmhouse, which included an addition and new plumbing fixtures.  No permit records were available for the older system, so an inspection was completed to verify its condition and suitability.  The review showed that the legacy system was not a good fit for the additional flows, and the project shifted toward a new design to support the renovation with confidence and long term reliability.

A new layout was developed following the site review, with an existing dug well guiding the usable area for the installation.  The soils in the selected area required a partly raised leaching bed, and conceptual grading was recommended to work with the natural slopes and maintain a smooth tie‑in to the surrounding landscape.  The permit package included clear drawings, a design report, and supporting information.  The municipal review moved quickly and the permit was approved without revisions, allowing the homeowner to move swiftly into construction for the fall season.

The project involved a practical review of the quarry site to understand how new office and washroom facilities could be serviced within an active industrial operation.  The assessment focused on how the natural terrain, shallow bedrock, and daily site activity shaped the available options.  Local drainage and high‑water features were mapped to establish a safe working envelope for the raised bed, and the servicing concept was built around the site’s existing grades and vehicle movement patterns to ensure the installation would function within the broader operation.

A tailored layout was developed following the site review, with the raised bed configuration selected for its reliability in the quarry’s soil conditions.  The layout incorporated grading that followed the natural slopes, creating a clean transition to the surrounding areas.  A polished, design package was prepared, combining clear drawings with a concise design report that supported a smooth municipal review.  All deliverables were completed on schedule and aligned with the client’s expectations.
